Come on... tell us!

What technology will you be playing with over Christmas? A new computer, a new home theatre set up, or maybe a new robot? Or are you just happy to be at home playing on your existing kit?

Now we have comments working :-) why don't you leave a note to say what technology fun you'll be having this Christmas?

For me, I still have loads to do with A1-DW (my robot), I'm wiring out my Sky box and moving entirely over to Freeview. I need to upgrade my Windows XP Media Centre to Windows Vista Home Premium. All in between racing the family in PGR3 (maybe Santa will bring PGR4). Just as well I have some time off then.

I LOVE ROBOTS - Win to build your own

If you read this blog at all you'll know I enjoy building and dreaming of robots. So to co-inside with the Robots Supplement that is available this month we're running another competition - yes another one, that's three if you include the one in the robots supplement!!!! - where you can win MONEY to build your own robot. We will give you credit of between £500 and £250 to spend at nominated online robot retailers depending on which part of the I Love Robots competition you win.

There are two parts to the competition you see. One for existing robot builders already out there creating the next generation of robot assistants and a second for those who dream of building a robot one day. We know there are loads and loads of people in the UK with the brains and the dreams to build useful, world changing robots. This competition gives you the reason and the means to set to and show your ingenuity off.

So no excuses jump off to http://iloverobots.wotudo.net now. You can submit your robot/s pictures for us to vote on, or submit your dream robot blueprint as a text description and drawing (the drawing is optional). All pictures/drawings need to be submitted as a jpg file.

I look forward to seeing all the cool stuff going on as well as the super cool ideas for what could be done. Sorry this is for UK residents only!

Have fun!

Technorati Tags: Robot, Paul Foster, Competition, UK
