You may have looked into producing such items your self, got to the Deep Zoom Composer and, well, given up.

Do not fear, the Live Lab’s team have provided a new simple to use web site to help you publish your favourite images using the Seadragon technology. Seadragon is the technology platform that provides Silverlight with its DeepZoom and Photosynth with its zooming and panning.

Now, for the first time, you can publish to Seadragon with a single click. All you need is the web address of the photo you want to publish.

Finding this can still be tricky:

If, like me, you use Flickr or another web photo repository, all you need to do is browse your chosen photo in its original size. Right-click on the photo itself and copy the Address (URL) from the properties box.

Once you have the web address, just nip over to Seadragon and paste the web address into the Create Your Own text box and press Create.

With in moments your picture will have been processed by Seadragon and you will then be able to zoom in and pan around your original sized image as if it was on the computer in front of you – more importantly all your friends and family can do the same too!!

Here’s one I made earlier, can you find the ‘sexy lady’ in the picture?
